Mechanical Breakdown Insurance

All vehicles are inspected by our qualified technicians before being offered for sale. Our vehicles come with 3 months Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, including parts and labour, which can be used at any VAT-registered garage.

We are an Approved Handler Protect Dealer, and all Mechanical Breakdown Insurance policies we provide are administered directly by Handler Protect. Claims are handled by the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance provider as an independent third party and are subject to their terms, conditions and discretion regarding what is covered.

Mechanical Breakdown Insurance can be extended from 3 months up to 36 months. Please speak to our team for pricing and available cover options.

Approved Workshop

Our workshop is also authorised and approved to carry out Mechanical Breakdown Insurance work on behalf of Handler Protect.

If you have purchased a vehicle elsewhere and already have Handler Protect Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, our service team may be able to assist with authorised repair work. Please contact us for further information.

Manufacturer Warranty

Vehicles that are still covered by a manufacturer's warranty will be sold with the remainder of that warranty. If you would like additional cover beyond the manufacturer's warranty period, extended protection options may also be available.

Please note that Mechanical Breakdown Insurance does not cover general wear and tear. Any claim is subject to approval by the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance provider before repair work is carried out.

Combined Asset Protection

Combined Asset Protection is designed to help return you to the financial position you were in when you originally purchased your vehicle.

If your vehicle is written off and your motor insurer makes a total loss payment, Combined Asset Protection can pay the difference between the amount paid by your insurer and the original invoice price of your vehicle, subject to the terms and limits of the policy.

Cover is available up to a maximum benefit of £50,000 where the original vehicle purchase price is below £125,000.

Up to 3 Years Cover

Combined Asset Protection is available for a maximum period of 3 years and may be transferable or refundable, subject to the policy terms.

A full refund may be available within the first 30 days, subject to a £35 administration fee. After 30 days, any refund would be calculated on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the policy terms.

Vehicles Purchased on Finance

If your vehicle is subject to a finance agreement, any payment made under Combined Asset Protection will normally be paid directly to the finance company on your behalf.

Where there are any remaining funds after the finance balance has been settled, these may be paid directly to you, subject to the maximum level of cover provided by the policy.
